The Govt. Polytechnic Institute (now Govt. College Of Technology, Attock) started its function in year Sep. 2003. The state land measuring 200 kanal and 01 marla was acquired in January 1987. The administrative approval of scheme was granted on 30.09.1992 and also modified on 05.04.1995 and secondly on 05.10.2000. The construction of GCT Attock was started on 05.04.1995 split in seven groups and handed over on 22.04.2003. The first batch was started on Sep.2003. GCT Attock offers three year Diploma of associate Engineer in six technologies i.e. Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Civil, Computer Information and Auto & Diesel.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
