The word “Mechatronics” is the combination of “Mechanics” and “Electronics”. This word was first used in 1969 by a senior engineer of a Japanese company. It is a collection of electronics, control engineering and mechanical engineering.

Mechatronics incorporates all modern machines of present era, robots and mechanisms that are capable to work in any environment. It is a multi-discipline technology. So that it can play an important role in industrial sector.
